Fuji FinePix S20 Pro Review @ PhotographyBLOG

PhotographyBLOG -:- Reviews -:- Fuji FinePix S20 Pro "Just like the Fuji FinePix F700 Zoom, which also uses Fuji's new 4th Generation SuperCCD SR sensor, the FinePix S20 Pro has a number of innovations that potentially make it stand out from the crowd and which justify the much higher than average price tag for a 3 megapixel camera."

Sony DSC-P100 review - DCVIEWS

Sony DSC-P100 review - DCVIEWS: "Here we will look at the Sony DSC-P100 in particular, as it is the most advanced model from the series, offering excellent quality and lots of flexibility for creative photographers. To this aim Sony have incorporated their new, faster Real Imaging Processor, lots of easy to use features and a sharp Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. Beside many automatic features the DSC-P100 also has manual flash and exposure settings, to make taking pictures a bit more challenging than just pointing the camera at your subject and shooting away. Canon DIGITAL IXUS 500 review at Hardware Zone

Canon DIGITAL IXUS 500 review at Hardware Zone "This year, Canon followed up the success and added three more cameras to the IXUS range. They are the five-MegaPixel IXUS 500, the four-MegaPixel IXUS 430 and the three-MegaPixel IXUS IIs. And in this review, we look at the top-of-the-line digicam in the IXUS family – the DIGITAL IXUS 500."

DCRP Review: Canon PowerShot S60

DCRP Review: Canon PowerShot S60: "The Canon PowerShot S60 is a nice camera for those looking for a high resolution camera with a wide-angle lens, full manual controls, and a fairly compact body. Most compact digicams have lenses that start at 35 - 39 mm, but the S60's lens starts at 28 mm -- great for indoor shots. If the 100 mm telephoto end isn't enough for you, then Canon offers a teleconverter which attaches to the tripod mount. The S60's body is fairly small, but it's huge compared to things like the Digital ELPH. It's not a pocket camera, but it's small enough to carry around for the day."

Olympus D-580 Zoom Digital Camera Review at Imaging Resource

Digital Cameras - Olympus D-580 Zoom Digital Camera Review, Information, Specifications: "The Olympus D-580 Zoom is one of the latest Olympus digital cameras, in a line that's one of both the broadest and oldest in the photo industry. The Olympus D580 updates the previous D-560 Zoom model with a higher resolution imager and a few minor feature and user interface tweaks as well. It offers a nice array of options, with four preset Scene modes and the same white balance and exposure compensation adjustments. Notably missing, which was also missing from the D-560 but is an expected staple of most modern digital cameras, is ISO control. But with an expected retail price of $279 (and 'street' prices lower than that), the D-580 Zoom is a good digicam at a very attractive price. " Also known as the C-360.

Pentax Optio 43WR review at Pocketlint.

Pentax Optio 43WR review: "Most digital cameras are about as likely comfortable around dust and moisture as the England football squad are around a victory ticker-tape parade, but stranger things have happened. The 16th and penultimate addition to the Pentax's Optio range, not only likes these environs, it positively courts them."

Steves Digicams - Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P73 - User Review: "It's definitely 2004 when you can buy a 4-megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens that takes great pictures for just $300. Sony's new Cyber-shot DSC-P73 is no stripped-down 'entry-level' camera, it sports features like a 5-point auto focus system, manual exposure control, multi-pattern metering, scene modes, histogram display and a fast image processor that allows it to capture up to 4 Fine mode images per burst."

Olympus C-770 Camedia Ultra Zoom review

Olympus C-770 Camedia Ultra Zoom review: "Essentially a 4 mega pixel digital camera with 10x optical zoom lens, the C-770 allows high-end mpeg4 quality recording at up to 30 frames per second. While it wont replace a camcorder in terms of quality or the length of capture, the recording quality is obviously far higher than a 2.5G/3G mobile or that the average webcam can muster. Being able to record sound is a bonus and in .WAV (Wave) format no less, but its not easy to pick up a clear recording especially in outdoor conditions."

Samsung U-CA3 review

Samsung U-CA3 review "Pictures come out good with this camera considering it's a 3.2 meg camera. Skin tones are pleasant and colors are accurate. There is no Tiff mode or non-compression mode on this camera. Super-fine is the best setting of the three (super-fine, fine and normal), however it's still pretty heavily compressed. The Samsung U-CA3 has a nice macro mode. You'll need to get a rechargeable battery which adds to your package price."

Ricoh Caplio 400G Wide review at PhotographyBLOG

"The 3.2 megapixel Ricoh Caplio 400G Wide falls into the waterproof category of digital cameras - you can use it underwater at a depth of 1m or less for up to 30 minutes. As a digital camera it closely resembles other Ricoh cameras in terms of design and features, but it does have the added bonus of a wide-angle 28-85mm lens. It also inherits the speed of the Ricoh Caplio G4, with a shutter response time of just 0.14 seconds, exceeding the speed of a conventional 35mm camera, and a very fast start-up time of 1.9 seconds. There aren't too many digital cameras that can match this unique combination of speed, wide-angle lens and waterproofness, so does the Ricoh Caplio 400G Wide live up to its billing?" Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 Digital Camera Review

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 Digital Camera Review "The Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 digital camera is the latest in a long line of Konica Minolta digital cameras featuring uncommon innovation, aggressive pricing, and superior optics. The original Minolta Z1 was their first long-zoom digital camera aimed squarely at the consumer market, and has been one of the most popular cameras on the Imaging Resource site since its introduction."

Pentax Optio 43WR User Review @ Steve's Digicams

Steves Digicams - Pentax Optio 43WR User Review "The Optio 43WR is a compact and durable 4.0 megapixel digital camera with a 2.8X zoom lens and a JIS Class 7 water resistance rating. The Optio 43WR remains watertight even when the camera is rinsed, splashed or submersed in water. The Optio 43WR is the perfect companion for outdoor photography in rain, snow or a day at the beach. It should not be operated underwater however"

Fuji FinePix S5000 Zoom Review at PhotographyBLOG

PhotographyBLOG -:- Reviews -:- Fuji FinePix S5000 Zoom "The Fuji FinePix S5000 Zoom is one of the more distinctive digital cameras on the market at the moment. It looks very much like a traditional SLR camera in terms of styling, but it is actually more like a compact camera in size and weight. Despite its diminutive dimensions, the Fuji FinePix S5000 Zoom has a massive 10x optical zoom which is equivalent to 37-370mm on a 35mm camera. It also features Fuji's new 4th Generation Super CCD HR sensor and can record images in RAW mode as well as the JPEG file format. And all of this is available for just over £200! So is the FinePix S5000 Zoom a bit of a bargain? Find out in my review."

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC50-S Digital Camera review at TrustedReviews

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC50-S Digital Camera review at TrustedReviews. "Panasonic isn’t the first name that you’d think of when it comes to digital cameras, but this isn’t something that has gone unnoticed in the Panasonic board room. Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless Review @ DesignTechnica

Designtechnica Reviews - Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless Review "As far as 2.0 Megapixel cameras go, the Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless was average at best. Its ability to transfer images over Bluetooth, while a nice novelty, served no great purpose unless you have a cellular phone or PDA which is Bluetooth-enabled. In this circumstance, it holds higher value in that it saves you the step of cutting out the computer as the middleman while you are shuffling JPEGs from machine to machine."

Leica Digilux 2 Review Don't know if I've mentioned this review before, so I thought I should. "The Leica Digilux 2, and its Panasonic twin, the DMC-LC1, are an interesting exercise in digital camera design and ergonomics - in essence, a throwback to the shape and handling and analog controls of mechanical 35mm cameras from the last half of the 1900s. As an operating tool in the hand, the Digilux 2 is very successful." Some very interesting stuff in this review.

Sony CyberShot DSC-W1 Digital Camera Review at Imaging-Resource

Sony CyberShot DSC-W1 Digital Camera Review "Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-W1 is one of the latest in the long (and incredibly broad) line of digicams that reflect Sony's commanding position in the digicam marketplace. Sony's P-series digital cameras have been hugely popular in the compact and subcompact markets for some time now, but they've also recently introduced three cameras that divert significantly from the P-series form factor: The rangefinder-style V1, the ultra-slim T1, and now the mid-size W1."

Pentax Optio S4i at DCRP Review

DCRP Review: Pentax Optio S4i "When discussing ultra-small cameras, the Pentax Optio S-series always comes up. The latest iteration of these popular models is the Optio S4i ($350), which has a 4 Megapixel CCD, 3X zoom lens, and of course, that ultra compact body. The differences between the S4i and its predecessor (the S4) are few. The only major changes I can see between the two models is the larger LCD and included charging cradle on the S4i."

HP Photosmart R707 review at DCVIEWS

HP Photosmart R707 review - DCVIEWS "The latest offering in HP's brand new R-series is the HP Photosmart R707. A sleek and classy 5-megapixel camera with a modern design and stylish exterior. However, the R707 does much more than just take pictures. With its three times optical zoom lens and a range of advanced in-camera features, it is meant for photographers who want a point and shoot camera but who at the same time are looking to further improve their photography skills. To this aim the camera analyses your photographs and offers advice on how to improve them. On top of this the R707 offers several unique functions such as Adaptive Lighting Technology, automatic - in-camera - red-eye removal and HP's Instant Share feature to instantly print pictures or mail them to friends and relatives, as soon as the camera is connected to a computer."

Kyocera Finecam L4v Digital Camera Review at Imaging-Resource

Kyocera Finecam L4v Digital Camera Review "The Kyocera FineCam L4v is one of Kyocera's expanding line of digicams, a four-megapixel unit with a 3x optical zoom lens. While Kyocera is actually best known for its semiconductor development, both serious amateur and professional photographers will immediately recognize the names Contax, Yashica, and Carl Zeiss. All are camera and optics manufacturers marketed by 45-year-old Kyocera Optics Inc., and all are highly regarded in the field of fine photographic systems and lenses."

Konica Minolta Dimage A2 review at TopicPoint

"The Konica Minolta A2 is one of the most feature-packed 8 megapixel prosumer cameras available. Most notable features include its Anti-Shake (AS) image stabilization feature, its high resolution 640x480 electronic viewfinder (EVF), its fast response time, a 544x408 30fps movie mode, a maximum 1/4000 second flash sync speed, and a convenient 7x 28-200 f/2.8-3.5 zoom."

Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 review at HardwareZone

"The DiMAGE A2’s body design is very similar to its brother, the DiMAGE A1. Cosmetic wise, the logo that says Minolta under the built-in flash on A1 now reads Konica Minolta on A2. And under the AS (Anti-Shake) logo beside the lens now spots the words '8.0M'. And of course, the words 'DiMAGE A2' are imprinted on the side of the camera to truly differentiate it from its older sibling. Even though the DiMAGE A1 and A2 uses the same CCD size, the A2 is an 8 MegaPixel monster. The 7x optical zoom lens and Anti-Shake system remain, together with other features such as the tilting LCD monitor and grip sensor."
